Make your own kumihimo bracelet in this introductory workshop with Donna Kobayashi!

Described as relaxing, meditative and portable, kumihimo braiding is a unique skill set for crafters, jewelers or ANYONE!


Donna Kobayashi is a retired graphic designer and artist. She studied Japanese aesthetics through the traditional arts of Japanese gardens, tea ceremony and ikebana. She currently serves as a docent at Tillman Japanese Gardens and as a consultant at the Japanese Friendship Garden San Diego Wellness Program. Donna has donated many of her fine handcrafted items in support of SFVHBT. Her crafts have been very popular at our Mochitsuki craft table and Obon temple bookstore.
